A weekend of immersive fun for your WHOLE FAMILY! We are having a family reunion mixed with a bunch of other neat stuff, and we want to invite everyone to bring their family and have a reunion with us. And when we say family reunion, we don’t just mean your 'festival family', we mean Aunties and Uncles, Grammas and Grammpas, Moms and Dads, Brothers, Sisters, Cousins and all them. And of course, your friends too. We are trying to start a family oriented tradition for our kids and their kids to grow up with, and we want you to share it with us! We plan to have some live music, dance, arts and crafts, speakers, healing arts workshops, trade circle, elder story time, essential life skills classes, community potlucks, and much more. There will be no alcohol available onsite (BYOB and keep it in your own camp), no drugs allowed, and any medical or recreational use of cannabis or other botanicals will be conducted in private as this is a Family Event for all ages, and ALL OUR RELATIONS.
We are open to suggestions for activities, presenters, etc. so please feel free to help us decide how to grow this event. From The Ground Up will be our sponsoring non-profit, the entrance fee will be a suggested donation but anyone can come for free if they cannot afford to donate, and all proceeds after cost will go towards funding From The Ground Up projects in the Konkow area. If you are interested in volunteering, performing, or otherwise contributing, please contact myself, Hap Hathaway, here on Facebook. I can’t say thank you enough for all the years of wonderful memories with so many beautiful people, and I can’t wait to make many years of new memories. We are entering a new decade and a new era for the Lake Konkow Campground as we say goodbye to the old with dear love and reverence and greet the new with open arms and excitement. This will be the 1st of many for years to come, so we sincerely hope you can make it up to see us.
