OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES FOR MERRY SHOCKMAS

Here are the official rules for Aftershock Lineup Reveal (“Contest”), being conducted by KRQR (hereafter referred to as “Station”) and its owner Results Radio LLC, starting March 14 and ending 11:59PM April 16 2023

The Station may change the dates and/or terms, conditions, or rules of the Contest without prior notice.  Any material changes to the Contest or its Rules will be broadcast and posted on zrockfm.com (hereafter “Station Website”). Station reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Contest as it deems necessary if it is not capable of completion as planned including, without limitation, as a result of infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, legal challenge or technical failures of any kind.  

The Station is not responsible for technological errors or failures of phone, text, internet, websites, email, or computer systems related to execution of the Contest.

WHO CAN ENTER (ELIGIBILITY)

The Contest is open to all US citizens 18 years or older who reside fulltime in the State of California (“Contestant”).  If Prize is won by a Contestant who is under 18, the Entrant’s parent or legal guardian must claim the prize and will be deemed the Winner for all purposes hereunder.

Current or former employees of Results Radio LLC, their immediate family members (including ex-spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, in-laws), individuals legally residing in the same household as current employees, Company affiliates, agents, successors, assignees, any promotional agency involved with this promotion, current employees of other Radio stations in California and their family members, are NOT eligible to participate or win.

Failure to comply with the Rules may result in a Contestant’s disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize. Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, and to disqualify that Contestant from entering or winning future contests.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Contest is void where prohibited by law.

Contestants are required to provide truthful information to the Station on entry and during entire operation of the Contest. Station will disqualify any entry discovered to be based upon false or untruthful information.

Contestants and Finalists who do not meet this Contest’s Eligibility requirements will be disqualified, and ineligible to become the contest winner.

By entering Contest, Contestants agree to indemnify this Station and Results Radio LLC from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from use of the prize or participation in this Contest.

By entering Contest, Contestants, Finalists, and Winners agree to allow use of their entry materials (including submitted image(s), Name, written material, and Voice) in Station on-air, stream, social media, newsletter, website, or other Station publicity platforms. 

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, listen to 106.7 Z-Rock weekdays between 6am and 11:59PM for 4 keywords which will be revealed throughout the day, minimum once per show (6-10a, 10a-2p, 2-6p, 6-10p) and weekends between 9am and 10pm for 3 keywords which will be revealed throughout the day, minimum once per show (9a-1p, 1-6p, 6-10p).  Text those keywords to 530-342-7526 before the end of the calendar day to enter (or alternately enter it into the form on the contest page at zrockfm.com).  Every Monday following the previous week, at 9am a randomly selected entry will be selected from the prior week’s entries for a chance at Aftershock 2023 passes.  If unable to confirm a finalist’s eligibility upon the first attempt (i.e. busy signal/no answer/voicemail…), the morning talent will then call another randomly selected phone number and so on until eligibility is confirmed and a winner is named.

Contestants may enter the Contest 1 time per keyword, with a maximum of four eligible contestants/inhabitants per Household.  Winning this Contest is limited to 1 time per Household.

Station Judges will be the sole interpreter of Contest rules.  All decisions by the Station Judges will be final.  Entry into this Contest constitutes agreement by Entrant to abide by these rules.

Entry Period is 9:00AM Tuesday March 14 through 11:59PM Sunday April 16

THE PRIZE

The Prize is:  two (2) full weekend General Admission wristbands for Aftershock 2023, October 5-8 2023, at Discovery Park in Sacramento California .

Prize Total Value is $799.98

There are a total of five (5) prizes

METHOD OF DETERMINING FINALIST(s) OR WINNER(s)

One (1) Prize finalist will be selected at random at the time of the drawing from all entries received during the preceding contest period as described above. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

Contest prize periods:

• 3/14/23 9am – 3/19/23 11:59pm
• 3/20/23 6am – 3/26/23 11:59pm
• 3/27/23 6am – 4/2/23 11:59pm
• 4/3/23 6am – 4/9/23 11:59pm
• 4/10/23 6am – 4/16/23 11:59pm

FINALIST/WINNER NOTIFICATION AND REDEMPTION OF PRIZE

Station will contact the finalists by their daytime telephone number indicated on their Contest entry each Monday morning at 9am starting Mar 20 through Apr 17 2022 and upon confirmation of eligibility will be named the Winner. If the finalist cannot be contacted after 1 attempt, the Prize will be forfeited and a new finalist will be chosen, repeating the process until a winner is confirmed.

Winners must appear and sign required affidavits and releases at a mutually agreed date and time after they’ve been contacted at 856 Manzanita Court Chico CA 95926, or the Prize will be forfeited.  Advance appointment at mutually agreed time is required, if advance appointment agreement can’t be reached and executed by October 1 2023 the prize will be foreited.

Prize cannot be awarded to third parties on behalf of the Winner.

Prize is transferable and may not be substituted for any reason

Winner will be required to fill out a W-9 form to claim Prize. 

Taxes are not included. Payment of taxes will be the legal responsibility of Winner.

The Winner, or if under age 18 the winner’s parent or legal guardian, will be required to present and report the following during the appointment: 

• Current and valid government-issued photo identification
• Personal social security number
• Household residence address
• Date of birth
• Phone number
• Any and all info reported on the Content Entry form exactly matching the entry.
