Pet Of The Week: Dopple

Dopple3Dopple may not be immediately visible when you first peer into her cage in our kitten room, but as soon as you see her you won’t be able to get her out of your mind! It’ll start with a pair of large, bright orange eyes peering up at you from under her blanket, then a curiously tilted head with pricked ears will emerge. She is a shy kitten, but loving, and once you’ve taken her from her cage and cuddled her to your shoulder she will purr and purr and purr.

Dopple will need a lot of TLC from her new family to come out of her shell, but once you’ve gained her trust you have it for life! Dopple(short for Doppelganger)got her name from being the spitting image of her mother, who was brought to the shelter along with her litter of young kittens by a community member so they could all be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and put up for adoption.
BHS is a nonprofit organization dependent on community support – your donations and adoption fees go toward saving the next animal in need. Please consider making a donation in support of our mission. Dopple’s adoption fee is $85.00 with $5.00 off if you bring your own carrier.
Dopple is up for adoption at the Butte Humane Society Cat Adoption Center, located at 587 Country Drive. Please call 343-7917×164 if you are interested in adopting her!
